A topping out ceremony took place at the construction site of Galeria Chełm, a joint venture of Acteeum and Equilis. In the construction tradition, it means the conclusion of works related to the core construction of the facility. In the near future, the building shell will be concluded and finishing works will follow. Galeria Chełm is planned for opening in the first quarter of next year.
A symbolic topping out, marking the completion of works on the building’s structure, was symbolically placed at the construction site of Galeria Chełm, the first shopping center in Chełm.
The ceremony was attended by the most important representatives of the city, including Daniel Domoradzki, Director of the Cabinet of the Mayor of Chełm, Monika Woźniak-Zawioła, CEO of Equilis in Poland, Tomasz Szewczyk, managing partner of Acteeum Group as well as Bartłomiej Kłos and Marcin Krzemiński, Board Members of Karmar S.A. – General Contractor of the investment. In addition, representatives of companies associated with the investment process and numerous media took part in the ceremony.

Day by day we are approaching the moment when Galeria Chełm will become the place that has never been in this city before – a multifunctional object on the map of the everyday emotions of the inhabitants of the city and the region,” explains Monika Woźniak-Zawioła CEO of Equilis in Poland.
The rapid progress of the Galeria Chełm construction works go hand in hand with even more spectacular progress in the commercialization of the facility. Galeria Chełm has already been leased in more than 95 percent, providing a comprehensive, diverse and perfectly composed palette of shopping and service offers as well as dining and entertainment opportunities.
“The topping out ceremony at Galeria Chełm is an extremely important moment for us; it constitutes a symbolic completion of the main construction phase confirming that the works are proceeding according to the assumed schedule.
