Omega Pilzno, a transport, forwarding and logistics services provider, has leased over 12,000 sqm of warehouse space in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre, owned by Goodman. Cushman & Wakefield acted as an agent on the lease transaction.
Omega Pilzno Godawski & Godawski has been active in the European logistics services market for 25 years.
Maciej Krawiecki, Senior Development Manager, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “We are delighted to have represented Omega Pilzno in such a major transaction on the Tricity market. For over four months we worked together to conduct technical due diligence of available buildings and choose the best possible location. Following the development of a detailed strategy for talks, a number of technical meetings and long negotiations, our Client opted for the Pomeranian Logistics Centre. I would also like to thank Goodman for its professional approach and commitment.”
Adam Godawski, Vice President of Omega Pilzno Sp. z o.o., said: “We now have three Class-A warehouses in our Subcarpathian Logistics Park. We are proud to have expanded beyond Subcarpathia and gained a foothold in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre.”
The Pomeranian Logistics Centre is a modern warehouse complex that will ultimately provide 500,000 sqm of mixed-use Class-A warehouse, manufacturing and office space, permitting construction of build-to-suit (BTS) warehouses. A duty free zone may also be established at the site. The Pomeranian Logistics Centre is located in Gdańsk, close to the Deep-Water Container Terminal (DCT), the deepest, non-freezing terminal in the southern Baltic and the only terminal in the region with sea connections with Asia’s largest ports.
Maciej Madejak, Head of Business Development Poland, Goodman Group, said: “We are pleased to welcome Omega Pilzno to the Pomeranian Logistics Centre, which now offers 88,000 sqm of modern warehouse space following the recent completion of the second building where Omega Pilzno is the anchor tenant. Thanks to very strong occupier demand, both our warehouses are now fully let and construction of a third building will soon break ground. Goodman caters for both large- and small-scale operators, offering warehouse modules starting from 3,000 sqm.”
