South Korean logistics company Unico is continuing to expand at BIK Wroclaw II. A pre-lease agreement has just been signed to lease an additional 11,250 sqm of Logicenters’ newly expanded facility in southern Poland.
At the beginning of 2022, Logicenters announced the expansion of its BIK Wroclaw II facility in southern Poland. Atlas Ward was selected as the main contractor and the expansion will add a total of 22,500 sqm in line with Logicenters’ clear sustainability profile.
The expansion is scheduled to be completed in September and is already attractive to future customers. A pre-lease agreement has now been signed with South Korean logistics company Unico for the leasing of 11,250 sqm of space in the new extension building, to be used entirely for warehousing purposes. Unico already leases around 4,600 sqm in the original building, including modern office space.
Unico Logistics is a South Korean logistics operator which has been active on the European market since 2010. Its aim is to gradually expand the services it offers through new operational offices and warehouses. The new agreement will come into effect as early as the third quarter of 2022.
“Our logistics facility is rapidly growing in popularity. A major advantage is its perfect location near the A4 motorway exit, which many tenants appreciate enormously. Our first building completed two years ago is still fully occupied and we are now expanding further. We are delighted with the signed contract and the opportunity that has been offered to an existing tenant to expand its business with Logicenters,” says Søren Rodian Olsen, Managing Director at Logicenters in Poland.
Last summer, Logicenters announced its intention to expand beyond the Nordic region with the first venture in Poland. The country is the fifth largest logistics property market in Europe and is also one of the fastest-growing markets on the Continent.
