.KTW office buildings have once again proven to be a prime location for launching a foreign direct investment in Katowice. The Vaillant Group, a leading supplier of heating and ventilation technology, has recognized the high calibre of the office and the tailored lease proposal. The company opened its second office in Poland at the .KTW and will focus on large-scale digital projects and optimizing internal business processes in Katowice. Furthermore, the company has declared additional development plans for the .KTW II office building.
The Vaillant Group is an internationally active company based in Remscheid, Germany. The global market leader in central heating units offers its customers technologies for heating, cooling and hot water supply that contribute to successfully shaping the energy transition in the buildings sector. The focus is on eco-friendly electric heat pumps, efficient gas-fired boilers, intelligent systems and comprehensive services. In Poland, the Vaillant Group has already been prominently present through its National Sales Company (NSC) in Warsaw. After celebrating the company’s 30th anniversary on the Polish market, this year marked the start of a new chapter. Vaillant Group decided to expand its Group IT and Data, Business Intelligence & Analytics in Poland. It plans to establish a state-of-the-art IT site in Katowice.

The .KTW office complex has been designed in liaison with a sustainable approach during construction as well as responsible management systems during operation, which is confirmed by the BREEAM certificate at Excellent level and WELL Health&Safety. This certificate further cements a safe workplace environment. The solutions introduced include inter-alia: charging stations for electric vehicles in the underground garage, infrastructure adjusted to the needs of cyclists, an intelligent building management system, lifts and elevators with low energy consumption, air-conditioning with an effective heat recovery system, and solutions improving the acoustics and diversified outdoor vegetation.

The Vaillant Group currently occupies 900 sqm at .KTW I and will move to .KTW II to expand the office space to one of the higher floors. The .KTW II office building obtained an official use permit in February 2022, and as recently as November 2022 the first tenants started using its premises for their business operations.
