Tomáš Míček, Country Head P3 Czech Republic said: “VF Corporation’s decision to expand at PointPark Prague D8 is a reflection of the park’s excellent infrastructure and location. P3’s dedicated BTS teams mean that new facilities can be quickly designed and developed according to clients’ specifics needs.”
VF Corporation has been present at PointPark Prague D8 since 2005, and currently leases almost 33,000 sqm at the park. The new facility will enable the company to consolidate activities from a number of distribution operations under a single roof. Construction of the new warehouse will begin in Q2 2014, with completion expected in 2015. The facility will incorporate a number of innovative energy saving and environmentally friendly features, including thermally insulated loading docks, intelligent lighting systems and a modern heating and venting system.
PointPark Prague D8 is located 10 km north of central Prague at Exit 1 on the D8 motorway that links the Czech Republic to Dresden and Berlin and it has direct connections to the city’s public transport system. The park currently consists of five buildings covering over 70,000 sqm.
