Glinianka Park in Łubna, in the southern suburbs of Warsaw, has changed its brand name to BIG Łubna. After its acquisition by BIG Poland in April this year, it becomes the third retail park, after Lubin and Andrychów, to join BIG’s portfolio in Poland.
“We are happy that BIG Łubna, now in its full glow, joins the family of BIG retail parks in Poland and that thousands of customers celebrated this important and symbolic event with us. It was great to see so much joy, satisfaction, and good fun at BIG Łubna. We are convinced that thanks to our tenants, continuous marketing activity, involvement in the life of the local community, and the advantages of the retail park, BIG Łubna will strengthen its position not only as the first-choice shopping centre but also as a central hub for local social life,” said Eran Levy, CEO of BIG Poland.
BIG Łubna is the third shopping centre in the BIG Poland portfolio, after the retail parks in Lubin and Andrychów. BIG Poland’s development plans extend much further, with additional retail parks under the BIG brand soon welcoming customers in various regions of Poland, including Ostróda and Piła.
BIG Łubna is an innovative and friendly shopping complex with an area of 10,200 sqm GLA, located on Puławska Street in the southern suburbs of Warsaw. It consists of two zones: a commercial & service zone and a recreational & relaxation space. The recreational area features a small lake, a playground with trampolines, a relaxation sitting area, and a beach volleyball court. These features attract residents of the surrounding area, allowing them to spend their time actively in a friendly and safe environment.
The shopping offer at BIG Łubna includes a modern Carrefour supermarket and stores such as Dealz, Home Landia, Jysk, KIK, Maxi Zoo, Pepco, Rossmann, Sinsay, Tedi, and Verona.
The project also includes the first kids’ playroom in Poland connected to the Fikołki kindergarten services. The Fikołki concept will open in September 2024, while the Sphinx restaurant will welcome its first guests during the summer. The attractiveness of the complex is further enhanced by a spacious and easily accessible parking lot, modern and aesthetic sanitary facilities, and multi-dimensional pro-ecological solutions, including a complete infrastructure for charging electric vehicles.
