Globalworth sells Warta Tower in Warsaw
Globalworth has sold the Warta Tower office building in Warsaw to Cornerstone Investment Management. The value of the transaction is over €63 million.
“It is a great success for us to sell such a prestigious office building in a top Warsaw location in consideration of the disruption in the office market”, says Łukasz Duczkowski, the Head of Investments and Special Projects at Globalworth Poland.
“Our concept to renovate Warta Tower will include modern design solutions that meet the latest standards and will focus on implementing an ESG strategy. We plan to complete the modernisation in 2025”, comments Przemysław Pikus, a Partner at Cornerstone Investment Management.
Academia office building nearing completion
The ACADEMIA office building is officially approaching the completion of its renovation. The building was awarded the ‘Future Project of the Year’ at EuropaProperty’s CRE Real Estate Awards event held in late 2022.
The 12,500 sqm office building in the heart of Budapest has recently undergone a complete transformation. The complex has obtained the WiredScore-Gold certification and soon will have popular green certifications such as BREEAM, WELL, and Access4you.
Panattoni completes factory for Hager Group
Panattoni has completed the construction of a 21,000 sqm production plant in Silesia for the Hager group, which will use the factory for the production of electrical safety equipment.
“On the anniversary of our 30th year in Poland. We have managed to achieve 100 mln finished products and thanks to the new factory we will achieve another 100 mln in another ten years,” says Robert Szklany, the Vice President of Group Manufacturing at Hager Group.
As part of the development, Panattoni delivered a production and warehouse building with an area of 16,000 sqm as well as a three-storey office building with an area of 5,500 sqm.
Cundall commits to achieving net zero carbon on all projects by 2030
Engineering consultancy Cundall has publicly committed to achieving net zero carbon on all its projects by 2030. The pledge recognises the critical need for practical, science-led action to transition all buildings, infrastructure, and human settlements to net zero carbon as rapidly as possible.
The global practice will work with clients and construction, property development, facilities management, and real estate investment stakeholders to design and deliver the low-carbon solutions necessary to minimise the impact of global temperature rises.
