Westbridge structures green power supply for Skanska in Poland

Westbridge Poland has advised Skanska Commercial Development Europe on the procurement of electricity from renewable energy sources for two office properties in Poland. As part of a structured tendering and bidding process, the electricity supply for the office developments, the Wave in Gdańsk and Brama Miasta in Łódź, was newly contracted for the 2027 supply year.

For both properties, Skanska will rely on a stable and sustainable energy supply using green electricity as we advance. The electricity volume managed by Westbridge amounts to approximately 3.25 gigawatt-hours and spans four supply points. The properties will be supplied under a fixed-price model, providing a reliable basis for budget planning. In addition, the supply is backed by guarantees of origin from national renewable energy sources.

For Skanska, sourcing sustainable electricity is a key component of its sustainability strategy for ongoing building operations. In addition to securing a supply of renewable energy, the focus was particularly on commercial conditions, transparency and planning security.

Westbridge Poland supported the entire process, from market analysis and the tendering of suitable energy suppliers to the evaluation of offers and final contract negotiations. Following a competitive bidding process, an energy supplier was selected for both properties.
