Savills has negotiated for the WorkLounge network of serviced centres to take over the lease agreement from outgoing operator HubHub at Na Příkopě 14 in Prague from 1 May onwards. Savills is also the property manager of the building which is owned by CPI Property Group. With a total area of over 3,700 sqm, it will be the largest centre in WorkLounge’s portfolio.
“Over the last twelve months, interest in coworking centres as well as serviced offices has increased. They both have similar features: allowing occupiers to work, communicate and relax. The name WorkLounge (work and relaxation zones) itself evokes the atmosphere of “wellbeing”, which is increasingly important for companies and individuals,” says Lubomír Šilhavý, owner of the WorkLounge network.
WorkLounge currently has four serviced centres; three in Prague, in Forum Karlín, Václavské náměstí and Smíchov, and a fourth centre in Cape Coral, USA. WorkLounge at Na Příkopě 14 will be the fifth centre in the portfolio. The company will continue HubHub´s operations with immediate effect, including taking over current clients. The shared office space is used by a number of high-profile companies, including Boston Consulting Group.
