Expansion of MLP Poznań is in the works, as MLP Group has signed another contract with WPIP Construction to further grow the logistics centre. This time, the contract is to develop a cutting-edge facility with over 16,000 sqm of space, customised to meet the needs of HAVI Logistics, a global company specialising in innovating, optimising and comprehensively managing supply chains for leading brands within the HoReCa & Convenience market.
The new warehouse is to be handed over to its tenant in August this year. Adhering to the principles of sustainable construction, the project will undergo a BREEAM New Construction certification of ‘Excellent’. The facility will feature solar PV panels, heat pumps, and charging stations for passenger cars and trucks.
“We’re commencing work to expand MLP Poznań, our logistics scheme highly popular with tenants. For this task, we’ve engaged WPIP Construction, a trusted partner with extensive experience in general contracting services. In line with our strategic vision, we expect the newly built facility to meet the highest standards and to undergo the rigorous BREEAM certification. We implement solutions that benefit the natural environment, enhance functionality and improve the comfort of our tenants’ staff,” said Agnieszka Góźdź, Member of the Management Board and Chief Development Officer at MLP Group S.A.

MLP Poznań is located in Koninko, near the S11 expressway connecting Poznań and Katowice. The park is situated approximately 16 km from the centre of Poznań and 4 km from the A2 motorway. Ultimately, it will provide almost 90,000 sqm of warehouse and production space to be built on an area of 20 ha.
