Wrocław’s Pegaz opens its doors – EuropaProperty

Late last month the representatives of municipal authorities, developer, tenants and other guests attended the opening ceremony of a Wrocław-based office facility delivered by UBM.

Comprising two five-storey office buildings, Pegaz in total offers 18,500 sqm of A Class office space and 360 parking spaces in the heart of Wrocław. The buildings are located less than 500 meters from the Old Town Square.

They were designed by Pracownia Architektury APA Hubka (design studio) while Porr Polska was the general contractor.

“We are happy that the first and such a special Wrocław project in our portfolio was successfully completed within a timeframe agreed upon in January 2014,” said Peter Obernhuber, UBM Polska’s Management Board member. “First Pegaz tenants will move in very soon. We hope that the new offices will meet the requirements of even the most demanding clients,” added Obernhuber.

“Over 50 percent of space in Pegaz was rented before the issue of an occupancy permit, which makes the investment project successful,” said Paweł Boczar, Associate Director at CBRE, an exclusive agent representing UBM in negotiations with tenants. “Negotiations with other new tenants are in progress and we are certain that by the end of 2016, 80 percent of the building will have been leased. Pegaz has perfectly blended into the existing Wrocław city urban development and is now one of the most in-demand office locations in the city.”

Pegaz was designed in such way that it provides an aesthetic addition to the neighbouring urban fabric and is harmonized with its historic appearance. The buildings’ facade is made of top-quality stone which makes them look modern and monumental. Apart from SDZ Legal, companies such as Xylem and Explain Everything are soon-to-be Pegaz’ tenants.
