BNP Paribas Securities Services has become the biggest tenant of Wronia 31, an office real estate investment, which is being developed by Ghelamco Poland, in Warsaw’s Wola district. The bank will occupy in total 8,000 sqm, with the option to increase it. The agreement has been concluded for five years.
Wronia 31, an investment located in the direct vicinity of Warsaw Spire and Plac Europejski (European Square), has gained a strategic tenant. BNP Paribas Securities Services will occupy more than a half of the 15,000 sqm of modern office space in the building. The five-year agreement provides space expansion, if needed. The relocation is scheduled for the turn of 2017 and 2018.
“Wronia 31 is yet another of our investments, which BNP Paribas Securities has chosen to be its new headquarters. It is here, near Daszyńskiego Roundabout and Europejski Square, where Warsaw’s new business and financial centre is being built. We would like to congratulate our partner on this strategic choice,” said Jarosław Zagórski, Commercial & Business Development Director, Ghelamco Poland.
“Due to our dynamic growth, for the second time within the last three years we have decided to change our office location. As specialists in services dedicated to investment funds, we recruit employees who appreciate perfect working conditions, the highest standard of the building, and the excellent location,” said Richard Piskorz, Head of AFS Operations Warsaw, BNP Paribas Securities Services Polska.
“The global strategy of BNP Paribas Securities Services is aimed at ensuring top quality in all areas – our services, products, and standards. Therefore, our headquarters must reflect these objectives. We hope that Wronia 31 will meet our expectations to the same extent as Warsaw Spire has so far,” said Andrzej Szadkowski, Head of Location Poland, BNP Paribas Securities Services Polska.
BNP Paribas Securities Services Poland is part of BNP Paribas, a group which specializes in securities and investment fund operations for corporate investors and financial institutions. The company operates in thirty four countries on five continents and is one of the five largest trust banks in the world.
Wronia 31 is an office project which is being implemented by Ghelamco Poland in Warsaw’s Wola district, on the corner of Łucka and Wronia Streets. The building has in total 16,000 sqm of space on 15 floors, of which 15,150 sqm will be A-class offices and 850 sqm commercial outlets. The building envisages two separate entrances and an arcade connecting it to the neighbouring Plac Europejski. As part of the investment, an independent underground parking lot was created, with 195 places for cars, and an infrastructure for cyclists, including 54 places and two locker rooms with showers.
Wronia 31 will meet high environmental standards. It is implemented in accordance with sustainable construction principles and certified in the BREEAM system. The building was designed by a team of architects from Jaspers-Eyers Architects, a Belgian studio which is also the author of Warsaw Spire. The building’s exterior shape is already completed; fit-out works in the interior are now pending. The opening is planned for the third quarter of 2017.
