Yusen signs prolongations in Business Park Prague Zličín – EuropaProperty

CBRE has mediated the renegotiation of current lease terms for international logistics company Yusen Logistics (Czech) Ltd. The new premises have 800 sqm of industrial area and 450 sqm of office area located in Business Park Prague Zličín.

Yusen Logistics is a strong international company with unique logistics solutions, provides expertise in air freight forwarding, ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics and origin cargo management as well as providing all the general logistics services. Yusen Logistics entered the Czech market in 2002 and since then it has established a position as a major logistics player. It offers its customers services from 6 strategically located offices with approximately 500 employees and more than 63,000 sqm of warehouse space. The warehouse in Business Part Prague Zličín is used for air and sea freight services support.

Mayumi Yokozeki, Industrial Consultant at CBRE says: “Yusen required not classical logistics space needs of proximity to the airport and also wanted to attract new as well as current employees. Therefore, they decided to lease office space within industrial areas, among others nearby to the Metro station. They used also CBRE workplace department for design of their offices.“

Tomáš Hašlar, Branch Manager at Yusen Logistics (Czech) s.r.o. says: “With CBRE we come in to cooperation for re-negotiation of our Zličín Branch rent contract. As we stay in this location more than 15 years, our focus was to compare with other possibilities on the market. Because our requirement for warehouse location was close to Prague airport and D1 highway, there was limited potential areas and coordination was a bit specific. All process, thanks these specifics takes more them one year and with thanks to strong CBRE support we could successfully complete.”
