New Vice President for acquisitions of Amstar Europe
Amstar, the Denver-based real estate private equity investment manager, welcomes Marek Jandous as the newest member to its European team. Mr. Jandous will start with the Firm on August 1, 2018 as Vice President and will be primarily focused on new investment opportunities that fit within Amstar’s investment strategies.
Most recently, Mr. Jandous led LaSalle Investment Management’s asset management operations in Central Europe, where he managed an asset portfolio valued in excess of €400 million. Mr. Jandous also took part in the development of LaSalle’s Central European business and executed upon a number of transactions across the region.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Mr. Jandous worked as a Business Development Director at APS Holding SE, a privately-held investment house specialized in non-performing loans. Before APS, Mr. Jandous managed refinancing and subsequent wind-down of the AHI Group real estate portfolio and took part in developing the logistics portfolio of Point Park Properties (P3) and its predecessor, Pinnacle CEE.
Mr. Jandous graduated with a Masters in Finance from the Massey University in Auckland, New Zealand, following his bachelor studies at West-Bohemia University in Plzen, the Czech Republic.
