Savills appoints new head of industrial agency for Czech Republic & Slovakia
International real estate advisor Savills has appointed Christopher LaRue as Head of Industrial Agency for its Czech and Slovak operations as of 1st February 2020. He will be based in the Prague office.
Christopher LaRue has 15 years of experience in the real estate and industrial sector, including more than ten years on the agency side and nearly five years in manufacturing and ecommerce.
Christopher joins Savills from US technical power solutions firm, StayOnline, where he was operations and international sales manager. Amongst others, he was responsible for the European distribution center in Prague and for the company’s international sales performance in EMEA and APAC. Before that, Christopher was an associate partner in Cushman & Wakefield’s CEE industrial team, also based in Prague.
“Chris offers deep experience across the sector and has demonstrated leadership in spearheading multiple complex projects and managing large-scale organisational change,” says Stuart Jordan, Managing Director and Head of Investment at Savills CZ&SK. “Chris takes over the mantle from Jaroslav Kaizr who has established our industrial platform over the last two years and who will continue to work with Savills on a strategic project basis.”
Christopher LaRue comments: “I look forward to helping our clients execute effective real estate and business solutions by combining many years of experience as a trusted advisor and as someone who understands first hand many of the challenges that accompany those in the logistics, ecommerce and manufacturing industries.”
