Baker McKenzie has relocated its Warsaw office to Varso Tower. The new space offers the Baker McKenzie team a comfortable, eco-friendly office tailored to modern needs, housed in a prestigious, award-winning building. The lease agreement with HB Reavis, the owner and manager of the Varso Place complex, was signed in early 2024, and the move was finalized in early January 2025.
The relocation project was led by Weronika Achramowicz, Managing Partner of Baker McKenzie in Poland; Marcin Iwaniszyn, Partner and Head of the Banking and Finance Practice; and Katarzyna Goll, Operations Director.
“Warsaw is constantly evolving, and modernizing, and so are we at Baker McKenzie. Our law firm has operated in Poland for over 30 years, during which we have moved offices several times. Each relocation marked a new chapter in our operations, reflecting the need for more space and our success with a prestigious location,” said Weronika Achramowicz. “Our new office was designed with the needs of various user groups in mind: clients, lawyers, and business support teams. The building’s infrastructure, modern technological solutions, and Varso Tower’s environmental certifications set new standards for office real estate in this part of Europe.”
Varso Tower is part of the Varso Place complex, located on Chmielna Street in Warsaw. As the tallest building in the European Union, it quickly became a landmark of the capital. Designed by the renowned architectural studio Foster + Partners, the skyscraper meets the highest environmental standards. It is also one of the first buildings in Poland to receive a WELL precertification, confirming its positive impact on people’s physical and mental well-being.
“Choosing a workplace for our team is a key decision that impacts daily efficiency, satisfaction, and professional development. We appreciate the care with which the designers and contractors approached ecological and comfort considerations for those working in the space,” emphasized Marcin Iwaniszyn. “We are providing the Baker McKenzie team with modern interiors that positively influence well-being and work efficiency in the demanding legal services market. This new environment will strengthen our position among the largest and most prestigious law firms in Poland and serve as a platform for further success, of which our employees and collaborators can be proud.”
