Abra S.A. Signs Lease for Space in Distribution Park Sosnowiec – EuropaProperty

Hines, the international real estate firm, is pleased to announce leasing activity at Distribution Park Sosnowiec (DP Sosnowiec). In July, Abra S.A. took over 6,012 sqm of warehouse space and 228 sqm of office space. The 10-year lease agreement transaction was conducted with support of AXI IMMO Group Sp. z o.o.

Abra S.A. belongs to Steinhoff International Holdings N.V and is one of the most rapidly growing furniture industry companies working mostly with local manufacturers. The company offers a various selection of furniture in modern design.

The convenient location of DP Sosnowiec, at the main traffic junction, will allow us to efficiently execute customers’ orders,” said Piotr Knara at Abra S.A. “Our company took over the new office and warehouse space in July this year thanks to good cooperation in the adjustment works with Hines Polska.”

Distribution Park Sosnowiec (DP Sosnowiec) is modern logistic space located in southern Poland, which is satisfying the most demanding customers in terms of strategic location, functionality and efficiency of the area. T

he property consists of a two-building logistics facility covering 47,100 sqm of high-quality warehouse, serving as storage and office space, equipped with 70 docks and six drive-in gates. It provides 170 parking spaces for cars and 46 sites for trucks. The property was constructed in 2005.

DP Sosnowiec is located in one of the most strategic location in Upper Silesia area. Sokolska Street in Sosnowiec offers the perfect combination of a well-developed network of public transportation and road infrastructure in the Silesian agglomeration. The advantage of the region, bordering the Czech Republic and Slovakia, is the proximity of the S1 expressway, the A4 motorway connecting Germany and Ukraine and E40 leading to Kraków and Wrocław.

The parks benefit from the connection of E75, running southwest to Cieszyn, and north to Gdańsk, which facilitate communication with distant places in Poland and Europe. On behalf of Hines Global REIT fund, the owner of the park, Hines serves as asset and property manager of the centre.
