French advertising giant Publicis Groupe has extended its lease agreement in the Platinium Business Park in Warsaw, Poland. Eight entities of the group all together have taken nearly 14,000 sqm, enlarging their offices by 1,600 sqm in total. It is the largest office lease transaction in the Warsaw real estate market so far this year. Publicis has been represented by Savills in the transaction while the owner of the complex – Allianz Real Estate – has been represented by White Star Real Estate.
“Having previously represented the Publicis Groupe, we are very proud to have successfully negotiated an extended lease agreement within the Platinium Business Park. I believe that this was a well-thought-out decision as a large amount of analysis and discussions went into meeting the needs of each of the entities. Mokotów is the most popular office district in Warsaw which is currently benefiting from ongoing and planned road infrastructure investments helping it to maintain its reputation as a prime location for business,” said Jarosław Pilch, Head of Tenant Representation Team at Savills.
Meike Feistkorn, Asset Manager of Allianz Real Estate Germany GmbH, said: “We are very pleased to sign the long term leases with the Public Groupe. As a reputational partner it is a milestone in strengthening the stability of Platinium Business Park. The conclusion of the prolongation coupled with the extension of the office space with this important tenant represents a strong commitment to Platinium Business Park and highlights the competitiveness of the property in the current market environment. We are delighted that the consistent infrastructural upgrade of the park area in the centre of the property is appreciated by our tenants.”
“There are only a few office projects in Warsaw that could meet the expectations of a tenant like Publicis Groupe. Eight entities of the group have their offices in five different buildings across Platinium Business Park. Each entity has its own individual character and business and therefore requires different specifications concerning its office space. Because of the size of the complex, we are able to react quickly to the changing needs of Publicis and at the same time guarantee the development of all eight entities inside one office complex, which was one of the key factors in the decision process for prolonging the lease agreements,” said Dariusz Domański, Junior Partner, Development and Leasing Director at White Star Real Estate.
Platinium Business Park office complex, owned by Allianz, is located at the intersection of Domaniewska and Wołoska Streets in the prime office district of Mokotów. The location benefits from its proximity to the variety of means of transportation, including numerous bus and tram lines, a fast urban train station at Marynarska Street and Wilanowska metro station. This guarantees convenient access to both the Chopin international airport and the city centre. Other advantages include the proximity of Galeria Mokotów, one of the largest and most popular shopping malls in the capital, and the variety of retail and service offerings located in the surrounding neighborhood. Platinium Business Park consists of five Class A office buildings that offer a total of 58,200 sqm of rentable area. The office complex offers a relaxing lake area in addition to its excellent visibility.
