Thanks to its exclusive positioning and new property development model, Apsys has experienced significant growth over the last few years. In order to further improve the performance of its assets and the strength of its projects, Apsys is creating a Group CEO role, in charge of supervising the two countries in which Apsys operates (France and Poland) and ensuring that the business plan is achieved. This Group CEO role will be carried out by Fabrice Bansay, current CEO of Apsys Polska. Maurice Bansay, founding President, will remain Chairman of Apsys and will focus on strategy, finance and development.
Fabrice Bansay, 37, joined Apsys in 2000 and has successively carried out the roles of Head of Leasing for France, Director of Development for Eastern Europe and CEO of Apsys Russia, then CEO of Apsys Poland. Over the last five years as head of Apsys Polska, Fabrice and his teams have done a remarkable job, making Apsys the number one management firm in Poland (with 22 centres under management representing 840,000 sqm GLA and displaying exceptional over performances compared to the market), and ensuring the start of construction work on Posnania, the autumn-opening of which will be an event.
To succeed to Fabrice Bansay at the head of Apsys Polska, Apsys has chosen an experienced professional: Benoît Charles, 50, previously International Development, Promotion & Construction Director of Immochan. Before being promoted to this position, Benoît Charles occupied the role of CEO of Immochan Poland from 2007 to 2013, meaning that he knows the Polish market very well. Beforehand, Benoît Charles had been an Apsys employee for three years, so he also knows the business very well.
The creation of the Group CEO role will be effective this autumn. In Poland, Benoît Charles has just taken up his responsibilities as General Director of Apsys Polska and will be working in tandem with Fabrice Bansay until the opening of Posnania, scheduled this autumn. In France, Fabrice Bansay will be working in close collaboration with Marc Wainberg and Claire Vandromme, respectively Deputy General Director and Finance Director.
“As we celebrate our 20th birthday this year, I am convinced that Apsys has never had so much potential, not only in its two historic markets, but also internationally, given how closely in-line its concept is with the expectations of consumers, cities and brands. This new organisation which relies on proven talents, will allow us to create and manage ever-more iconic places that make cities and life more beautiful,” said Maurice Bansay, founding President of Apsys.
