Atrium European Real Estate Limited (VSE/Euronext: ATRS), (“Atrium” or the “Company” and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”), a leading owner, operator and redeveloper of shopping centres and retail real estate in Central and Eastern Europe, is pleased to announce that it has promoted Scott Dwyer to the position of Group Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 October 2017.
Originally from Australia, Scott has been CEO of Poland at Atrium since joining the Group in October 2014, with responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the Group’s Polish operations and building on Atrium’s success in establishing itself as one of the country’s leading owner-operators of dominant shopping centres.
As such, he has been instrumental in implementing Atrium’s major redevelopment and extension programme across its three flagship assets in Warsaw, further improving the EUR 1.5 billion Polish portfolio.
Scott has over 20 years’ experience in Central and Eastern European markets with several senior executive roles within the real estate industry. Previously he was at Heitman International as Portfolio Manager overseeing its European real estate business. From 2009-2012, Scott was General Manager at ING Real Estate Development with core responsibilities for CEE, Germany, Switzerland and Italy, together with heading retail across the business.
From 2002 Scott spent seven years with Rodamco Europe/Unibail-Rodamco expanding and managing its CEE portfolio as Managing Director Central Europe. Scott has a Business degree from the University of Technology Sydney and is a qualified CPA.
