MLP Group has gained a new tenant at its MLP Łódź logistics centre, as Bohnenkamp has signed a lease for more than 6,000 sqm of space designed to contemporary standards. According to the lease contract, the warehouse unit will be handed over to the occupant by the end of March this year, followed by the office space – at the beginning of July. Axi Immo, a real estate consultancy, represented the tenant in the transaction.
Bohnenkamp is a leading wholesaler of tyres, wheels and vehicle parts for professional use, supplying dealers and manufacturers with quality products from its comprehensive range.
“We’re delighted to welcome a new tenant to MLP Łódź. The location of this complex in the central part of Poland holds special appeal for distributors and logistic operators. The extensive network of highways and expressways ensures efficient connectivity in all directions. What also attracts prospective tenants is our commitment to providing high-quality space. In line with our strategy, all our newly built facilities undergo BREEAM certification. We implement solutions that benefit the natural environment and enhance the comfort of our tenants’ staff,” said Agnieszka Góźdź, Member of the Management Board and Chief Development Officer at MLP Group S.A.
Jakub Wojtera, Senior Advisor, Industrial & Logistics, AXI IMMO, added: “The eastern part of Łódź in the vicinity of Victims of Terrorism Avenue is one of the oldest and largest industrial zones in the Central Poland region. Clients have appreciated this location for years for its wide range of available modules, large development opportunities, and location near the A1 highway entrance”.
MLP Łódź is a modern logistics and distribution centre located in the Widzew district in the south-eastern part of Łódź, only 4 km from the A1 motorway, connecting Łódź with the Tricity, and about 20 km (a ten-minute drive) from the A2 motorway (Berlin-Poznań-Warsaw). Its major advantages include proximity to municipal transport services. Sited on a land plot of approximately 20.98 ha, the project will ultimately deliver 86,800 sqm of new space.
The centre will be developed based on the concept of sustainability, and the warehouse facilities will all be BREEAM-certified. The MLP Łódź logistics complex is focused primarily on tenants operating in the e-commerce, logistics, distribution and light industrial production sectors.
