The CEE Retail Awards 2026 celebrated a diverse and forward-looking group of winners, underscoring the resilience, adaptability and innovation shaping retail and real estate markets across Central and Eastern Europe. Against a backdrop of evolving consumer behaviour, economic uncertainty and rising sustainability expectations, this year’s winners demonstrated the region’s ability not only to respond to change but to lead it.
Among the standout names on the night were Master Management Group, Apsys, NHOOD and Redkom Development, while Cushman & Wakefield and LCP (M Core) each collected multiple major awards. Together, the winners represented an eclectic mix of developers, destinations, retailers, investors and service providers – reflecting a market that continues to evolve through collaboration, innovation and long-term vision.
Retail Destinations Raising the Bar
Retail destinations that combine strong commercial performance with customer experience and community relevance were firmly in the spotlight. Manufaktura, developed by Apsys, was named Ultimate Destination, recognised for its long-term vision and sustained tenant performance. NHOOD’s Mikołów Retail Park received the Retail Park award, while Galeria Twierdza Kłodzko’s extension, developed by EPP, was honoured as Retail Project (Small).
Mid- and large-scale retail development was also well represented, with M Park Szubin by LCP Poland (M Core) taking the Retail Project (Medium) category, and Brama Jury Zawiercie by Master Management Group winning Retail Project (Large). The Refurbishment / Extension category highlighted the growing importance of asset repositioning, with Comfy Park Bydgoszcz by Redkom and Newgate recognised for successfully adapting an existing scheme to changing market needs.
Collectively, these projects stood out for their ability to respond to shifting consumer habits while maintaining both commercial performance and local relevance.
Retailers Driving Engagement and Growth
Retail brands shaping consumer expectations across physical and digital channels were also recognised. Rossmann was named Cosmetics Retailer of the Year, while Vision Express received the Speciality Retailer award. In fashion, Deichmann was honoured in the under-500-square-metre category, with Reserved taking the award for larger formats.
Empik was recognised as Online Retailer of the Year, MR.DIY received the Home & Living Retailer award, and Kaufland was named Anchor & Destination Retailer. MINISO was celebrated as Newcomer of the Year, reflecting its rapid expansion and growing popularity across the region.
Together, the retail winners reflected a balance of established market leaders and fast-growing concepts, each recognised for customer loyalty, innovative formats and well-executed expansion strategies.
Investment, Capital and ESG in Focus
Strong investment activity and disciplined capital deployment remained central themes at the Gala Awards. The Investment Deal of the Year was awarded to Reico for its acquisition of Palladium in Prague from Union Investment, while BIG Poland was named Investor of the Year, and Bank Pekao received the Bank of the Year award.
Asset management excellence and sustainability leadership were also highlighted. EPP was recognised as Asset Management Firm of the Year, and CBRE Investment Management received the ESG & Sustainability Award, reflecting the growing importance of ESG integration and long-term value creation in investment decision-making.
These awards underlined a market that remains active and selective, with confidence rooted in responsible growth and resilient asset strategies.
Professional Services Powering Performance
Professional advisors and service providers enabling transactions, developments and asset performance were recognised across a wide range of disciplines. Argon Legal Lisiecki was named Law Firm of the Year, while TPA Poland received the Tax & Financial Adviser award. Balmain Group was recognised as Professional Service Provider of the Year.
Cushman & Wakefield secured two major honours, winning both Project Management Firm of the Year and Agency of the Year, while Master Management Group was named Property Management Firm of the Year. The jury highlighted the increasing importance of high-quality advisory and operational support in a regulatory- and sustainability-driven environment.
Development, Construction and Industrial Excellence
The awards also recognised excellence across development, construction and logistics. CFE Polska was named Construction Firm of the Year, and Redkom Development received the Retail Developer of the Year award. Panattoni was named Warehouse Developer of the Year and also received Warehouse Project of the Year for the Rossmann BTS Project in Hungary.
Future-focused development was acknowledged with OTO Park Siemianowice by Acteeum and Falcon Investment Group, named Future Project of the Year. The Refurbishment / Extension Project of the Year award once again highlighted Comfy Park Bydgoszcz by Redkom and Newgate, reinforcing the importance of adaptive reuse in today’s market.
Leadership, Design and Innovation
Excellence in lifestyle concepts, architectural vision, operational leadership and innovation rounded out the awards programme. Sławomir Murawski of Manufaktura (Apsys) was honoured as Shopping Centre Director of the Year, and SINGU received the Proptech Innovation Provider of the Year award.
