The retail sector of Centrum Praskie Koneser – a multifunctional development project in Warsaw’s Praga-Północ district – continues its dynamic growth trend in terms of results and offers. This trend, which persisted throughout 2022, shows no signs of stopping in 2023, indicating that the investment is once again achieving higher footfall and turnover figures. Furthermore, the facility’s offer has been enriched with seven new tenants.
Centrum Praskie Koneser, a pioneering and the largest revitalization project in Warsaw has been consistently gaining popularity since its opening. In the first quarter of 2023, there was an 11 percent increase in footfall and a 15 percent increase in turnover rates in the retail sector compared to the first three months of 2022. This continued growth is proof of the upward trend observed throughout 2022 when footfall and turnover increased by 28 percent and 20 percent respectively compared to the previous year.
In the post-industrial space of Centrum Praskie Koneser, seven new retail tenants are starting their operations. The total rental space amounts to 4,484 sqm. In autumn 2023, an innovative educational concept for children called “miniciti” (of 1,175 sqm.) will be opened in “Pasaż Konesera”. In this miniaturized town, children will get knowledge about entrepreneurship, economics, and sustainable development.
Starting from January 2023, Grupa Dobry Hotel became the tenant and operator of the Butelkownia Event Center (1,667 sqm.). Simultaneously, they lease and manage the Moxy Warsaw Praga Hotel. Thanks to the direct connection between the buildings, unique accommodations and event offers have been created in Warsaw.
The well-known European restaurant chain, L’Osteria, is also joining the group of tenants at the project, becoming the first of its kind in Poland. In the summer of 2023, food lovers will taste real Italian cuisine, enjoy a family atmosphere, and experience unique interior design in a nearly 480 sqm. space. Currently, L’Osteria has almost 160 locations in eight countries across Europe.
Another new restaurant tenant in Centrum Praskie Koneser is Spółdzielnia. Koneser is a modern gastronomic concept with roots in Łódź. The restaurant is located in a historic building within Centrum Praskie Koneser and offers European and American cuisine across three floors with a total area of 632 sqm.
From March 2023, at Minimal Line customers can order minimalist, custom-made projects such as portraits, gifts, or dreamy birth certificates for children, all drawn based on photographs. The studio also offers a wide range of creative workshops for both children and adults to enjoy.
A new tenant and complement to the healthcare services in Centrum Praskie Koneser is Medicover Pharmacy (216 sqm. in “Pasaż Konesera”), operated by the Medicover Group. It fits perfectly with already operating medical concepts, which include Stomatologia Dental Sense Medicover, Laboratorium Protetyczne Rytuał Uśmiechu Medicover, Centrum Medyczne Damiana, Centrum Medyczne Damiana Medycyna Estetyczna, and the Invimed clinic.
The first Biologique Recherche salon in Poland, part of the exclusive Ambassade de la Beaute cosmetic salon chain, began operating in Monopol building at Plac Konesera. Spanning an area of 246 sqm., Ambassade de la Beaute offers treatments for the face, body, hair, and scalp, catering to both women and men.
