LPP and CTP join forces with new regional distribution hub at CTPark Bucharest West
CTPark Bucharest West has been further boosted with CEE’s fastest-growing fashion retailer, LPP, leasing a 65,000 sqm facility at the industrial and logistics park. The deal represents the first partnership between Poland’s LPP and CTP in Europe.
Sebastian Sołtys, vice-president of LPP Logistics, said: “The Romanian market has remained one of the key ones in terms of LPP’s business development for several years now. In just 2.5 years, the number of LPP-branded stores in the country has doubled – from 59 at the end of 2019 to 118 at the end of the first half of 2022.”
Ana Dumitrache, Country Head of CTP Romania, said: “CTP’s new partnership with LLP comes hot on the heels of the signing of a 50,000 sqm lease with a major logistics group in late 2022.”
ELI Parks starts new projects in the Northwest Bucharest Logistics Hub
ELI Parks continues the development of the Northwest Bucharest Logistics Hub with two new projects, with a total area of 42,000 sqm. The construction of the two logistics spaces represents the extension of the company’s development strategy, ELI Park Bucharest now has a total area of 140,000 sqm.
“ELI Park Bucharest now becomes the dominant logistics hub in the Northwest area of Bucharest. We are confident in our current location, which is in full development and in the quality of the two projects we will deliver this summer,” says Andrei Jerca, Managing Director, of ELI Parks.
Romania takes important step towards net zero energy building
As of February 2023, new technical regulations regarding the methodology for calculating the energy performance of buildings will enter into force in Romania. Thus, the Romanian construction market will take an important step forward by aligning with European standards and trends in terms of sustainability.
Setting minimum performance requirements for existing buildings and new buildings with near-zero energy consumption (nZEB) is one of the requirements covered by the new Mc 001 regulation.
“nZEB standards are today an essential step for sustainable real estate development, especially now, when energy performance and solutions based on renewable energy, neutralization of the carbon footprint and reaching the targets imposed by the European Commission are a global priority,” said Răzvan Nica, Managing Director of BuildGreen.
Sirin Development enhance quality and sustainability with ISO standards
Industrial real estate developer Sirin Development has obtained the ISO Quality Management System Standard and the ISO Environmental Management System Standard.
