IWG opens four new Regus and HQ centres in Hungary
Hybrid working solutions provider IWG, with brands including Spaces, Regus, HQ and Signature, has expanded its Hungarian portfolio with four new openings, adding a total area of 5,944 sqm to its footprint. The openings are being delivered in partnerships with different locations that have chosen the IWG flexible workspace platform and have entered into a management agreement with the Regus and HQ brands.
Mark Dixon, CEO & Founder of IWG, commented: “We are establishing a stronger and much-needed footprint in Hungary with these new 4 locations. As important business hubs, Budapest, Budaörs and Pécs are fantastic places for us to boost our expansion plans.”
CitySpace opens in Lódź
CitySpace, a flex office concept owned by Echo Investment, has opened in Łódź in the mixed-use complex Fuzja. CitySpace Fuzja is the 13th location of the office space provider in Poland.
“We make key investments in strategic locations. Therefore, Łódź and Fuzja are a natural choice for us,” says Lisa Zettlin, Managing Director of CitySpace.
According to Knight Frank, the dynamic growth of Łódź is attracting more and more interest from investors, who are keen to locate or relocate their business here.
“Our main goal is to create the best conditions both for living in Łódź and for investing,” says Adam Pustelnik, Deputy Mayor of Łódź.
7R starts a new project in Silesia
Warehouse developer 7R is preparing a new project 7R Park Bytom I. The project will be built in the spirit of ESG: 25 ha of neglected land will be rejuvenated and will have numerous pro-environmental solutions. “Combining business, ecology and social responsibility is one of 7R’s priorities,” said Joanna Ociepka-Wojciechowska, Regional Leasing Director at 7R.
Ultimately, 7R Park Bytom I will be a complex of four buildings. The total area of the complex will be more than 121,000 sqm. Construction of the first warehouse is expected to start in the second half of 2023.
Urbanity Campus Tachov secures BREEAM certificate
Urbanity Campus Tachov, located west of Plzeň, became the first industrial complex in the Czech Republic to receive an international BREEAM Communities certification. It has now completed the three-year certification process with the final rating of “Excellent”. The construction of the second phase of the project is now launching, which will offer 55,000 sqm of leasable space.
The comprehensive BREEAM Communities certificate monitors a wide range of aspects of the evaluated projects, emphasising social, economic, and environmental issues.
“We are an investor who has a permanent vision in all our locations. We want to be a considerate and reliable partner to the community and the prestigious certification we have earned shows us that we are moving in the right direction,” said Roland Hofman, co-founder of Urbanity Group.
