C&W expands into Austria with CBS International as an exclusive affiliate
Cushman & Wakefield has signed an exclusive affiliate agreement with CBS International to deliver commercial property services in Austria. The agreement builds upon an existing successful relationship between the two firms, with CBS International having been Cushman & Wakefield’s affiliate in Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia.
Led by Country Head, Thomas Schanda, the Cushman & Wakefield CBS International’s team in Austria also includes Capital Markets, Agency, Valuation & Advisory and Research & Insight specialists.

Panattoni begins 30,000 sqm of speculative space near Łódź
Panattoni is launching the construction of a new speculative centre in the Łódź region. The project is to have an eventual size of close to 30,000 sqm and is located at a strategic point in central Poland thus providing excellent conditions for logistics operations as well as for distributing goods on a national or international scale.
The Łódź park will be tailored to the needs of e-commerce and is suitable for other sectors that require the efficient management of goods. The centre is to include numerous loading docks enabling goods to be handled quickly and logistics operations to be optimised.

LEED Gold certification for Sopot Marriott Resort and Spa
Sopot Marriott Resort & Spa, inaugurated in May 2012, has been awarded the LEED Gold certification in the Operations and Maintenance category, granted to existing buildings.
