Panattoni sells two Polish logistic parks in Lublin and Silesia West
Panattoni has completed the sale of two Polish logistics parks in Lublin and the Silesia West region to a North American private equity investor. The two properties have a combined gross lettable area (GLA) of about 65,000 sqm.
Robert Dobrzycki, Panattoni CEO & Co-Owner Europe and India, said: “Our successful sale of these two fully-leased standing assets demonstrates the continuing strong investor appetite for modern logistics properties with high sustainability credentials in the Polish market.”
Shopee selects the Warsaw Unit for its Polish headquarters
Shopee, a global e-commerce platform connecting shoppers, brands and sellers, has opened its local office in the Warsaw UNIT, one of the most hi-tech and environmentally-friendly office blocks in Poland. The lease was signed with Ghelamco, the developer and owner of the office tower. The tenant was supported and advised in the transaction by CBRE.
In 2021, Shopee was launched in Poland where it helps homegrown brands and entrepreneurs succeed in e-commerce. Globally, it was the top-ranked app in the Shopping category by downloads for the first quarter of 2022.

Savills appointed to manage Widok Towers
Savills has been appointed as property manager for Widok Towers in Warsaw. The mandate follows many years of cooperation with German Commerz Real, the property owner.
Widok Towers is a mixed-use 95m high skyscraper in the very heart of Warsaw. It has an area of almost 35,000 sqm.
The anchor tenant of Widok Towers is Warsaw City Hall. Other key tenants include Enel Med, Funk Gruppe, Movatoo, Vortune Equity and Advantage Austria. Office leasing and facility management services are provided by S+B Gruppe, the developer of the property.
“It is the second skyscraper that has recently strengthened our property management portfolio in Poland.,” says Michał Bryszewski, Head of Property & Asset Management, Savills.
Multi leases 883 sqm to Wrocław City Hall
The Polish division of Multi Corporation has signed a lease agreement for the Resident Service Centre (RSC) of the Wrocław City Hall in the Magnolia Park shopping centre the company manages. Leasing for social services is one of the directions of changes introduced in commercial assets managed by Multi. In Poland, it manages six shopping centres and two office buildings with a total area of 346,000 sqm of GLA.
Estimates of the Wrocław City Hall show that about 120,000 people will be served in this location during the year.
“The driving force behind Multi’s method for increasing the value of assets, except long-term capital investments in redevelopment and expansion, are innovative solutions, including community-related ones,” explained Frederic Rouleau, Country Asset Manager Multi Poland.”
Czech industrial real estate stock exceeds 10 million sqm
The total area of modern industrial space for lease in the Czech Republic increased to 10.14 million sqm in the second quarter of 2022, announced the Industrial Real Estate Forum. A total of 146,600 sqm of new warehouse space was delivered to the market within 15 industrial parks across the country. Approximately 90 percent of the projects were already pre-leased at the completion time.
At the end of the second quarter of 2022, a record amount of space was under construction. A total of almost 1,271,000 sqm of warehouse and production space. The gross take-up (including renegotiations) in the second quarter of 2022 reached 670,700 sqm.
The most significant new transaction in Q2 2022 was a pre-lease at Panattoni Park Cheb of almost 233,700 sqm, signed by an undisclosed distribution company. The second largest transaction was a new lease at Prologis Park Prague-Rudná of 58,600 sqm, leased by the logistics company DB Schenker. The third largest new lease was a pre-lease at Panattoni Park Chomutov North, where the distribution company Amazon leased 14,900 sqm of space.
