Skanska sells Equilibrium 2 in Bucharest
Skanska has sold Equilibrium 2 in Bucharest to the Magyar Posta Takarék Real Estate Investment Fund, managed by Gránit Asset Management. This means the fund now owns both Equilibrium 1 and Equilibrium 2.
Equilibrium 2 was completed in late 2022 and offers around 20,000 sqm of office space across eleven floors. The building sits in northern Bucharest, at the entrance to the Floreasca–Barbu Văcărescu area, the city’s New Central Business District.
The complex also includes 3,500 sqm of green space for tenants and the local community. Equilibrium 2 holds LEED Platinum, Access4You Silver, and WiredScore Platinum certifications.
Skanska says the sale continues its partnership with Gránit and supports Gránit’s 5B regional office strategy covering Budapest, Bucharest, Belgrade, Vienna, and Bratislava.
Garbe and Fortress to build logistics centre in Bucharest
Garbe Industrial Real Estate has partnered with Fortress Real Estate Investments to develop a 61,000 sqm logistics centre in Bucharest. It will be Garbe’s first project in Romania and Fortress’s second. Construction is planned to start by the end of this summer, with the first tenant expected in early 2027.
The site is in northwest Bucharest, near the A0 ring road, with strong access across the capital.
Both companies say Romania remains one of Europe’s most attractive long-term logistics markets. Your line: “Why this matters is timing. New supply is coming, but only in locations with strong infrastructure.”
Logicor acquires asset near Budapest
Logicor has acquired a 28,000 sqm logistics property in Budaörs, around 12 kilometres from Budapest. The asset is now called Logicor Alligator. Logicor now operates 172,000 sqm of logistics space across eight parks in Hungary.
