The construction and commercialization of Galeria Młociny is going strong. Just six months after obtaining the building permit, over 50 percent of the total 70,000 sqm GLA has already been leased. The modern retail and entertainment complex situated in the Bielany district of Warsaw has attracted leading brands in fashion, accessories, sports and home décor. Lease agreements have also been signed by the first food court tenants, a cinema operator and a fitness club.
The second stage of the construction of Galeria Młociny has been underway since the beginning of October. “In October we started reinforced concrete work, part of a diaphragm wall. This will secure the excavations and allow us to proceed with major construction work. The development of the first structural components, including piles with pile caps and the foundation slab will start in December, according to schedule,” said Rolad Łopuszyński, Project Coordinator, Master Management Group.
The complex will offer 220 retail and service units, home to many popular brands including Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius and Oysho, as well as VAN GRAAF, C&A and H&M. There will also be watch and jewellery stores: Apart, Bijou Brigitte, YES, Swatch, Briju and Zibi, while anyone looking for trendy home furnishings and accessories will find them at Zara Home and Mensa Home. Leisure and entertainment will be provided by the 9-screen CINEMA3D. Active shoppers will also be able to keep fit at the Calypso Fitness Club and buy sportswear and equipment at GO Sport and Martes Sport. Galeria Mlociny will also offer something for kids, namely a SMYK store.
Galeria Młociny will feature a unique food court concept with modern aesthetics, lots of natural light and outdoor seating in the rooftop garden with a view of the Młociny Forest. So far lease agreements have been signed by KFC, Pizza Hut Express, Burger King, Express Kuchnia Marché, Lifemotiv, Olimp, Subway, ZenThai, Sevi Kebab, Compañeros and Saladki.
