In the first quarter of 2024, the leasing department of CPI Property Group Poland (CPIPG) signed contracts for a combined area of 9,200 sqm in its Polish properties – extension agreements dominated these signings.
From January to March of this year, the CPIPG leasing team signed almost 60 contracts covering a total area of 9,200 sqm. Nearly 40 of these were lease renewals for space in the company’s retail centres and its office buildings’ retail and services sections.
“CPI Property Group Poland’s portfolio includes high-quality space in shopping centres and retail parks as well as in the retail and service premises of its office buildings, all of which have significant business potential. We can offer tenants a wide range of formats, concepts and locations across Poland, thanks to which the interest remains high for the space we provide. In addition to that, our successful cooperation and good relations with existing tenants is encouraging them to stay longer in the properties owned by CPIPG,” says Agnieszka Baczyńska, the Head of Leasing at CPIPG.
The largest contracts in terms of area signed in the last quarter include extension agreements in the Stop Shop Legnica retail park and in Vivo! Stalowa Wola. “In both of these centres, it was large and well-known electronic goods and clothing brands that chose to stay with us. This confirms that our centres are regarded as first-choice retail destinations for both customers and tenants,” adds Agnieszka Baczyńska.
CPI Property Group owns and manages 23 retail centres throughout Poland. Its retail portfolio includes six shopping centres – the CH Ogrody in Elbląg, Galeria Orkana in Lublin and four Vivo! (part of the Immofinanz portfolio) centres, as well as 17 retail parks (six CityMarket centres and 11 Stop Shop parks). The portfolio, which includes properties located in 20 cities across Poland, has a total area of over 272,000 sqm and a combined value of €437 million.
