CTP has completed the transformation of a former tire warehouse at CTPark Bor in the Czech Republic into a cutting-edge logistics centre. The newly refurbished 17,500 sqm facility now serves long-time partner DB Schenker. The renovation included not only a complete revitalisation of the existing facility, but also the construction of new administrative areas. The project is part of the further development of CTPark Bor, where up to 116,000 sqm of premium space in six buildings meeting the highest industrial and sustainability standards will soon be available.
“Thanks to our long-standing cooperation with CTP, we have been able to expand into new premises without any disruption to our operations, allowing us to manage our logistics flows even more efficiently. The transformation of the original warehouse into a modern logistics centre was carried out with a strong focus on our specific needs, ensuring not only higher operational efficiency but also a comfortable working environment for our employees. This expansion enables us to provide faster and more sustainable services to our customers across the region,” explains Michaela Kadlecová, Facilities Management Specialist at DB Schenker.
DB Schenker’s new facility not only meets the highest logistics standards but also strict sustainability requirements. CTPark Bor is powered by renewable energy from solar power installations on the roofs of two buildings, with the capacity to cover the park’s total energy consumption. The park’s infrastructure includes electric vehicle charging stations and direct connections to public transportation, further supporting environmentally friendly operations. In addition, the renovated building has been awarded BREEAM Very Good certification, confirming its high level of energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
