Semi-final results are now in for the upcoming EuropaProperty CEE Retail Real Estate Awards representing the most outstanding and accomplished projects, companies, retailers and individuals throughout the region in 2014. The region’s most respected and prestigious awards celebration, which will be attended by some of the region’s leading firms and individuals, will take place on February 12th 2015, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw, Poland.
Craig Smith, publisher and founder of EuropaProperty, the leading commercial real estate media firm, which organises the CEE Retail Awards Gala & Forum, the CEE Investment Awards Gala & Forum and the SEE Real Estate Awards Gala & Forum as well as several other high-impact events and conferences throughout the region, commented, “Once again I am excited to welcome a sell-out crowd to our seventh annual Central and Eastern European Retail Real Estate Awards. It pleases me greatly that this year we have received a record number of nominations. The sponsors, attendees and judges are senior level European or Central European directors, which affirms the CEE Retail Awards as a true industry landmark event.”
This year 24 projects from across the region have made the short-list and will compete for “Retail Project of the Year” awards in six different retail development categories. Projects are rated according to quality of design, building efficiency, quality of location, environmental concerns and commercial success.
“Company of the Year” awards will be presented to the leading developer, investor, bank, consultant/letting agent, retail leasing specialist, professional service provider, law firm, project management firm, property management firm, architectural firm and tax & financial adviser in Central and Eastern Europe for activities and accomplishments during 2014. Companies are judged on their overall market contribution, quality of customer services, market innovation, commercial success, leadership and market penetration.
“Retailer of the Year” awards will be given to retailers active throughout the region based on their market innovation, expansion, contribution to the market, market share, concept and design, and commercial success. (The retailers’ short-list will be announced in the first week of February).
Awards will also be given for “Overall Project of the Year”, “Overall Company of the Year” and “Overall Retailer of the Year” in addition to “Overall Professional of the Year.”
