Semi-final results are now in for the upcoming EuropaProperty CEE Retail Real Estate Awards showcasing and recognising some of the most accomplished projects, companies, retailers and individuals from the region in 2018. Heralded as the retail sector’s most respected and prestigious awards celebration, the 11th edition will be attended by some of the industry’s leading firms and individuals, and will take place on January 24 2019, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw, Poland.
“This year we received a record number of entries from throughout the region, which illustrates the importance of the EuropaProperty CEE Retail Real Estate Awards,” commented Craig Smith, Publisher of EuropaProperty and Organiser of the CEE Retail Real Estate Awards. “The sponsors, attendees and judges are senior level European or Central European directors, which affirms the CEE Retail Real Estate Awards as a true industry landmark event.”
A large number of retailers have been nominated this year accentuating the strength and depth of the region’s retail sector. “Retailer of the Year” awards will be given to retailers active throughout the region based on their market innovation, expansion, contribution to the market, market share, concept and design, and commercial success.
This year an array of different retail projects and formats from across the region have made the short-list and will compete for “Retail Project of the Year” awards in six different development categories. The projects selected all showcase innovative concepts including connectivity, design, architecture, and sustainability, as well as offer an immersive customer experience at their centre.
“Company of the Year” awards will be presented to the leading developer, investor, bank, consultant/letting agent, professional service provider, law firm, property management firm, architectural firm and tax & financial adviser in Central and Eastern Europe for activities and accomplishments during 2018. Companies are judged on their overall market contribution, quality of customer services, market innovation, commercial success, leadership and market penetration.
Awards will also be given to the “Overall Retailer of the Year” in addition to “Overall Professional of the Year.”
The semi-final results have been narrowed down, by an independent jury of judges, from a field of over 400 nominated companies and projects to determine the following semi-finalists:
