Peakside Capital has completed the renovation of its recently acquired property in Brno. The 11,000 sqm mixed use facility has gained a completely renovated passage and a refreshed Albert Hypermarket. The asset has also received a new logo and name – Centrum Videnska.
Peakside Capital has successfully completed a comprehensive renovation of its mixed-use property in Brno, the Czech Republic. The renovation comprised mainly an improvement in the quality of common areas, which included modernization of the lighting and replacement of the ceilings and floor. These improvements will allow for new retail areas and better usage of common space which shall attract new tenants to the centre.
During the modernization, the center’s main retail tenant, Albert Hypermarket, decided to completely refresh its store and introduce its new retail concept. Besides improving its appearance, the center has also gained a new logo and name: Centrum Videnska.
Tomáš Jokl of PQ Asset Management, managing the property on behalf of Peakside, commented: “Centrum Videnska has significant growth potential and we have just made a first important step in order to realize it. We believe that the centre will now become more attractive both to the tenants and the end customers.”
The Centrum Videnska is located at Videnska Street 89A, a thoroughfare connecting the D1 highway with downtown Brno. The facility offers approx. 9,000 sqm of retail space and approx. 2,000 sqm of office space. Its more than 20 existing tenants include: Albert hypermarket, KiK, Teta drugstore, BENU pharmacy and others.
