Face2Face in Katowice now under construction – EuropaProperty

Excavators has entered the construction site of the office building Face2Face Business Campus located in Katowice. The new project of Echo Investment in the capital of Silesia will be a place to meet, exchange ideas and cooperate.

Heavy construction equipment is working on the plot at the intersection of Grundmanna and Chorzowska streets. This is a sign that construction of the first phase of Face2Face Business Campus is taking off.

”The reconstruction of underground networks and the excavation are behind us. We have started the first works related to the construction of the first building, that is, foundation reinforcement and water-proof insulation. We plan to finish the construction in the fourth quarter of next year” says Paweł Szarpak, Project Manager at Echo Investment’s Office Department.

The first building of Business Campus has seven tiers of inspiring space to look for and take on new challenges, a total of nearly 21,000 sqm. In the future, the second building will be located “face to face” – both buildings together constitute a coherent architectural and functional concept.

”We create a comfortable workplace, but at the same time we want to provide employees with something more: common spaces, outdoor restaurants, leisure areas and places for co-working. Face2Face will be not only functional, but also motivating and rousing to being creative. In addition, we will also organise here a “pop-up space” i.e. the space where events and services inspired by tenants and their employees will take place. The offer will change so as to encourage people to engage in joint efforts” says Joanna Nicińska, Regional Director at Echo Investment’s Office Department.

Grupa 5 Architekci is responsible for the architectural design of Face2Face Business Campus, and creating the creative space between buildings is the task of Biuro Projektowe Małeccy from Katowice. The structure contractor of the first phase is M&JBUD. The office building will apply for the BREEAM certificate at the Excellent level.
