First Pillar of Greenyard’s Cold Logistics Centre Completed in Gliwice

Greenyard Logistics Poland has marked a key milestone in the construction of its first facility in southern Poland, with completion scheduled for the end of 2026. The ceremony for the erection of the first structural pillar at Marq Logistics Centre in Gliwice was attended by representatives of Marq (formerly GLP), Merity Funds, BREMER Polska, JLL, and Greenyard.

The new facility is a strategic investment responding to growing demand for temperature-controlled logistics in southern Poland. Designed for food logistics, it will offer precise temperature and humidity control, including two box-in-box freezer chambers and three blast-freezing chambers, enabling simultaneous service for multiple clients.

The site will feature advanced ammonia-based cooling systems, enhanced insulation, and an 800 kWp rooftop photovoltaic installation to reduce operating costs and carbon footprint.

Located in the heart of Silesia, Gliwice offers excellent access to the A1 and A4 motorways, supporting both domestic and cross-border distribution. The investment complements Greenyard’s existing network in Gdańsk, Poznań, and Warsaw.

The first phase, to be delivered in Q4 2026, will include Greenyard’s operational space and 8,000 sqm available for lease, with potential for a further 20,000 sqm development.
