Focus Estate Fund announced a comprehensive plan to introduce modern electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across its retail portfolio, further strengthening its ESG strategy and commitment to sustainability.
During the first phase of the program, high-power EV chargers provided by ChargeEuropa will be installed at five shopping centres:
- Galeria Mosty, Płock
- Ferio Legnica, Legnica
- Sosnowiec Plaza, Sosnowiec
- Plaza Ruda Śląska, Ruda Śląska
- Galeria Sandecja, Nowy Sącz
Future phases will see the expansion of EV charging infrastructure to additional properties within the portfolio, ensuring that more customers benefit from modern and sustainable solutions.
The Charging Stations at these four shopping centres will be powered by 100 percent renewable energy and deliver fast charging speeds. They are equipped with large 75-inch LED digital displays, offering both wayfinding support and advertising opportunities, which generate additional value for operators and tenants.
“We’re thrilled that Focus Estate Fund shares our passion for driving the growth of EV infrastructure in Poland. A huge thanks to Dawid Florek from ChargeEuropa and Yuri Konovalov from Focus Estate Fund for a smooth and seamless process. This is just the beginning – we can’t wait to power up more chargers together in future locations,” said Mikołaj Moszyński, Head of Business Development, ChargeEuropa.
The number of charging stations at each location is tailored to the shopping centre’s size and visitor flow, guaranteeing efficiency and convenience for the growing number of EV drivers.
“By installing modern, fully renewable EV charging infrastructure across our portfolio, starting with these five key centres, we are investing in both customer convenience and environmental responsibility. This first phase marks an important step in our long-term ESG strategy, creating sustainable, community-focused destinations that deliver lasting value,” commented Andrii Kozin, General Partner, Focus Estate Fund
This initiative follows the successful deployment of photovoltaic panels across Focus Estate Fund’s Polish assets, now powering its retail centres with clean energy. With the addition of EV charging infrastructure, the Fund continues to build a robust foundation for sustainable retail environments.
