The project is unique in several respects. First of all, Żory was one of the last medium-sized cities in Poland without a shopping mall, and the gallery is practically 100 percent leased. Finally, the multiplex in Wiślanka is the only new cinema opened in Poland in 2020. In addition – this large project was implemented by a domestic investor – Wiślanka S.A. from Jastrzębie Zdrój.
“It is one of the last new shopping and entertainment centres in Poland. Due to the very difficult market situation related to the pandemic and the problems of the commercial industry, this opening can be treated as a “litmus test” and an answer to the question about the future of the industry. The success of nearly 100 percent commercialization and the results of the first days of the facility’s operation confirm that well-prepared and professionally implemented projects still have a chance of success,” says Maciej Mazur, CEO of Mallson Polska.
Mallson Polska was responsible for the commercial concept and rental of the facility. The gallery is characterized by a very clear layout, an even distribution of the main tenants and a complete offer of all sectors. The selection of tenants was also crucial for commercial success.

Galeria Wiślanka is also distinguished by an attention to architectural details and the quality of the finish. The team of Plus8.pl from Zabrze was responsible for the architectural and visual whole. The investor – P. Teresa Jonas, in cooperation with the facade and interior designer P. Joanna Jonas, was personally responsible for the interior design and the unique facade, the integral part of which is a gigantic mural with motifs referring to the history of the city and the landscape of the national road, commonly known as Wiślanka. The general contractor of the facility was Strabag. Mallson Polska was responsible for the commercial concept and leasing.
