Generali Real Estate appoints Lukas Jeckel as the Head of Central Northern Europe Region – EuropaProperty

Generali Real Estate announced the appointment of Lukas Jeckel as the Head of Central Northern Europe Region, comprising Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with effect from August 1st, 2019.

He succeeds Martin Schramm, who is leaving the Generali Group after 9 successful years, during which he was pivotal in developing the high quality real estate portfolio of Generali in Germany.

Lukas Jeckel joined Generali Real Estate in 2010, and most recently was responsible for Asset Management activities in the Central Northern Europe region. In his new Head of Region role, he will also maintain the Asset Management responsibility in the Region.

A seasoned real estate professional, Jeckel started his career in 1998 and, as since, has been working for insurances, banks and construction companies. He holds a degree in engineering from the University of Dortmund.

He continues to be based in Cologne, Germany, and reports to the CEO of Generali Real Estate S.p.A. Aldo Mazzocco.
