Held at the Natural History Museum in London, on 5 May 2016, Retail and Leisure International’s eleventh edition of the Global RLI Awards, in association with the Chalhoub Group, once again provided a spectacular evening in recognition and celebration of the most visionary and innovative retail and leisure concepts from across the globe.
The night started with a champagne reception, after which guests were invited to be seated for the main event of the evening, which included entertainment in the form of live highlights from the West End hit, The Lion King, an exquisite three course meal and, of course, the awards ceremony itself. To close the evening nicely there was also a spectacular After Party, offering an ideal opportunity to celebrate all of this year’s winners.
In her opening speech, RLI Publisher Jayne Rafter said: “Tonight, we pay tribute to the very best of the best, the innovators and those that dare to push the boundaries; we reward all of those exemplary, dynamic projects and concepts that have excited the senses recently with stunning architecture, superb customer service and breath‐taking ideas that aren’t afraid to take risks, refusing to settle for anything but the very best.”
