GTC has officially opened Centerpoint 3, the latest and final phase of its landmark Centerpoint office complex in Budapest’s Váci Corridor. The opening ceremony brought together representatives of GTC, project partners, architects and media to celebrate the completion of one of the largest new office developments delivered in the Hungarian capital in recent years.
Centerpoint 3 offers 36,600 sqm of modern office, retail and service space and completes the development of the Centerpoint complex, which now comprises more than 77,000 sqm of space in the heart of Budapest’s District 13.
The official opening provided an opportunity to recognise the teams and partners involved in bringing the project to life – from its design and construction through to leasing and preparation for occupancy.
For GTC, the completion of Centerpoint 3 represents more than the delivery of a new building. It is also an important milestone for the company as it continues to strengthen its organisation, evolve its approach to asset management and build closer relationships with tenants and business partners across the region. UNIQA Hungary became the first tenant of Centerpoint 3, leasing 6,000 sqm of office space.
“Centerpoint 3 is a tangible example of the direction in which GTC is moving. We are building on the strength of our existing portfolio and the experience of our local teams, while becoming a more integrated, agile and tenant-focused organisation. Completing Centerpoint 3 together with our partners, as a new addition to a well-established business destination we have developed over the years demonstrate what we can achieve when strong local expertise, high-quality real estate and a clear business direction come together,” said Botond Rencz, CEO of GTC Group.
Developed in line with LEED Gold certification requirements, Centerpoint 3 combines contemporary office space with landscaped terraces and a carefully designed internal garden creating an attractive and welcoming environment that supports the return to office-based work. These features create a high-quality workplace environment while supporting GTC’s focus on sustainable and future-oriented real estate.
The building is located in Budapest’s Váci Corridor, one of the city’s most established business districts. Its completion further strengthens GTC’s presence in Hungary, where the Group manages an office and retail portfolio with a total gross leasable area of nearly 240,000 sqm.
