Harden Construction has completed hall A in Panattoni Park Poznań A2. As a result, a gigantic warehouse facility was completed, consisting of two halls (A and B) with a total area of 140,000 sqm near Poznań.
The Panattoni Park Poznań A2 complex near Poznań, 8.5 km from the intersection of the A2 motorway and the S11 expressway and less than 19 km to the Old Market Square in Poznań. The complex consists of two halls located on a plot of over 32 hectares. Hall B, which was completed first, has an area of 80,000 sqm and was built in the BTS formula. Its construction took just over half a year, which is a record-breaking pace. The facility was handed over to H&M Hennes & Mauritz Logistics for use at the beginning of October 2023.
The second completed hall is Hall A, which was recently put into use. The facility has an area of 61,000 sqm and will serve as a logistics and warehouse facility. Approximately 650 tons of structural steel and 115 tons of reinforcing steel were used for the construction of Hall A. In addition, 1,900 sqm of concrete were used to build the monolithic structure and 11,000 sqm of flooring concrete. The hall structure is supported by 390 reinforced concrete pillars.
“To build Hall A, 432 prefabricated wall elements, 94 dock boxes, 36 pre-stressed concrete girders, 6 ceiling beams and approximately 200 sqm of prefabricated ceilings made of HC boards were used. This shows the scale of this project, which was completed in just three quarters. It should also be mentioned that some of the profiles used in the steel structure of the roof come from low-emission production of steel products,” said Paweł Fiuczak, Managing Director at Harden Construction.
“In total, approximately 1,400 trees and shrubs were planted throughout the complex, 1,400 sqm of flower meadows, 4 insect houses, 10 nesting boxes for birds and 3 beehives for bees were created. Many pro-ecological solutions have been implemented to ensure that the complex functions in harmony with the ecosystem and supports the development of biodiversity,” said Łukasz Kozerski, Operations Director at Harden Construction.
Further, Hall A was built according to the Excellent rating and is currently applying for a BREEAM certificate.
