Intersport, international multi brand sports retailer, has announced plans to invest between EUR 3 and 5 million into opening 15 new stores in Serbia by 2020.
The company aims to establish presence in cities with more than 50.000 inhibitions, including Vršac, Šabac, Gornji Milanovac, Užice, Kraljevo and Kruševac.
In addition, new store openings are also scheduled to take place in two major Serbian cities, Belgrade and Novi Sad. Through its upcoming expansion, the sports retail giant will generate approximately 80 new jobs.
“Intersport Serbia has this year celebrated the 15th anniversary of successful business operations. We currently operate a retail network of 15 stores and have identified a significant potential for further expansion,” said Branko Mirković, the company’s Director.
