Jacek Levernes has become a non-executive Board member of Globalworth Holding B.V., the Globalworth entity which is the controlling shareholder of Globalworth Poland, the largest institutional office investor and landlord in Poland. Jacek Levernes’ expertise and advice will play an important role in the company’s objective of focusing on the development of property technologies for its portfolio, setting new standards in the real estate industry.
“We are very pleased that Jacek Levernes, one of the mentors and leaders of the phenomenal expansion of the business services and technologies sectors in Poland and the CEE, joined our company. Business services growth has been one of the key drivers of the economic expansion in Poland and the broader CEE region which has led to such operations being the main source of demand for office space. At the same time, technology has come to be part of almost all aspects of a business, and the real estate market cannot be an exception. Modern technologies and the ability to integrate them in one’s daily activity represents both a competitive advantage for attracting tenants and increasing the value of an asset. Jacek’s longstanding expertise in the business services and technology industry will provide us with invaluable insight in these industries and will further assist us in our strategic goal of becoming the landlord of choice in the markets we operate,” said Dimitris Raptis, Deputy CEO and CIO of Globalworth Group and CEO of Globalworth Poland.
“Poland is a regional leader in two sectors – commercial real estate and modern business services, including R&D and IT. In Central and Eastern Europe, the Polish real estate market is responsible for more than half of the value of transactions in the region, which last year totalled a record €7.2 billion in Poland. The country is also the largest employer in the business services sector with more than 300,000 jobs, which accounts for almost 50% of the employment in the region. Business services and office real estate are two inseparable sectors. Everything suggests that there is great potential to integrate these achievements and thus further strengthen our leading position in services, technologies and real estate. I believe that in a few years time, Poland can become one of the leading European hubs for property technology solutions,” commented Jacek Levernes, non-executive Board of Directors member of Globalworth Holding B.V.
