Kamil Szymański has been promoted to the Head of the Industrial Agency at real estate advisory firm Savills. The industrial team, which has been recently joined by Aneta Kaszowicz-Pająk, will be strengthened further in the near future.
“The industrial market remains a key area in which Savills wants to advance its business. Kamil joined us as one of our first employees when two and a half years ago we began providing services in this sector and has ever since been actively enhancing the recognizability of the Savills brand on the new market. I am confident that he will excel in his new role, capitalising on our new hires and team growth strategy,” says Tomasz Buras, CEO of Savills in Poland.
Kamil Szymański took his first steps in transport, forwarding and logistics at DHL 15 years ago. He then broadened his knowledge of logistics at TNT, being responsible for cooperation with key accounts. Prior to joining Savills, Kamil was a business development manager in JLL’s industrial department. As an Associate Director at Savills since November 2016, he has acted on lease transactions, focusing on cooperation with logistics clients. In his new role as the Head of the Industrial Agency with effect from May 2019, Kamil will be responsible for the team’s development strategy and oversight across Poland, relations with key accounts, securing new projects and expansion of services. During his professional career he has successfully advised many prestigious clients, including Poland’s leading logistics providers such as DSV Solutions, DB Schenker, No Limit, ID Logistics and ND Logistics.
“I want to continue on the path we embarked on when we decided to build a new business line at Savills dedicated to warehouse and industrial properties. I intend to draw more extensively on the opportunities afforded by our global structures and strong position on many key overseas markets. We will focus on advancing our growth agenda in the near future, but one thing will certainly not change – we will maintain our energy, enthusiasm and efficiency that make us unique on the market,” says Kamil Szymański, Head of the Industrial Agency, Savills.
The industrial team of Savills currently consists of six people, half of whom are women. Savills continues to recruit more staff to strengthen its position on Poland’s core regional industrial markets. The most recent professional on board is Aneta Kaszowicz-Pająk, who supports clients searching for logistics facilities in Central Poland.
Aneta joined Savills as an Industrial Agency consultant with responsibility for advising tenants in their search for new locations and lease renegotiations in Central Poland. Previously, she had worked in the residential and commercial real estate industry for more than four years, for a logistics operator of the CAT Group for more than eight years and Frans Maas (now DSV) for four years. Aneta is a graduate of the Katowice School of Economics and completed postgraduate studies in real estate management at the Warsaw University of Technology.
