Centrum Praskie Koneser has signed another lease agreement. In a carefully restored multifunctional complex with a rich offering of entertainment, culture, services, commerce, gastronomy, and business, the ‘Kleks. The Magic of Cinema’ museum will open in the second half of 2024 – a project that has been successful in Katowice city as well. An interactive exhibition will be created on an area of 648 sqm, taking visitors into the fairytale world of Mr. Kleks.
“The museum is a place for both kids and adults to experience the behind-the-scenes world of the Academy of Mr. Kleks. Visitors will get a chance to witness how special effects were created and be transported to Wilkusy’s cave or the lecture hall where they can take a photo with Professor Kleks or Matthew the Bird. We’re excited that ‘Kleks. The Magic of Cinema’ will be in Centrum Praskie Koneser – a place surrounded by a unique environment that’s not only child-friendly and family-oriented but also offers ample opportunities for fun and learning,” says Grzegorz Pietraszewski, the creator of the ‘Kleks. The Magic of Cinema’ museum, co-producer of the Academy of Mr. Kleks directed by Maciej Kawulski.
“Centrum Praskie Koneser is a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages creativity. ‘Kleks. The Magic of Cinema’ is a fantastic addition, which enriches the entertainment, educational, and parenting offer of the complex. We believe that visitors of all ages will enjoy themselves and discover new interests. Especially since Koneser is a flagship example of our dedication to developing modern projects that prioritize people, community, and their needs,” emphasizes Magdalena Bartkiewicz-Podoba, CEO of Liebrecht & wooD in Poland, a company with Centrum Praskie Koneser in its portfolio.
‘Kleks: The Magic of Cinema’ is set to be a new attraction for families, children, and teenagers at Centrum Praskie Koneser. In the fall of 2023, an innovative educational project called ‘minicity’ was launched on the complex’s premises. In this unique miniature town, the youngest ones learn about the basics of entrepreneurship, economics, and sustainable development.
Liebrecht & wooD is committed to creating and supporting social and educational development activities as part of its ESG Policy. As a result, the company organizes various workshops, events, theatre performances, film screenings, and other attractions throughout the year. One such initiative is the annual Lato Konesera (Koneser’s Summer), which provides a wealth of entertainment and activities. The Koneser Square area is also filled with giant-sized games, such as oversized chess, cornhole, or tic-tac-toe, from spring to fall. During winter, both children and adults can enjoy the Koneser Ice Rink’s atmospheric setting.
Centrum Praskie Koneser has been operating since 2018 and spans almost 100,000 sqm. It comprises offices, commercial and service areas, cultural and entertainment centres, eateries, hotels, and residences. The development is situated on the former site of the ‘Koneser’ Vodka Distillery and is owned by BBI Development S.A. and Liebrecht & wooD. The property management is handled by the WeCARE company, which is part of the Liebrecht & wooD group.
