It is now possibe to check the final look of the living space at LivinnX Kraków not only by enquiring at the rental office arranged in the building, but also by visiting IKEA Kraków. On the first floor of the shop you can see the interior of the space for one person. The LivinnX unit has been recreated with great attention to detail.
LivinnX Kraków is a hall of residence created as part of a renovation project of the former Telpod factory building at ul. Romanowicza 4 in Kraków. Already in the coming academic year, the facility will be able to accommodate as many as 710 people. They can choose from 290 residential units of various configurations – 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-person units. Each of them – fully fitted out – will have a living area with a kitchen, a bedroom space and a bathroom. The interior will be furnished by the Swedish IKEA brand. The company will supply the residential parts of LivinnX with sofas, beds, wardrobes, kitchen furniture and accessories.
“Since the very beginning of this project, we have wanted to provide the residents of the facility not only with places to sleep, but also with solutions that would allow them to focus on their studies on the one hand, and on the other, would foster the development of passion, friendship and creative leisure time. We knew that we had to create a hall of residence that would be one of its kind – offering a modern and multifunctional space with a very good standard and design. It was therefore natural for us to establish cooperation with IKEA, the company that revolutionised the interior design market. Flawlessly designed, modern IKEA furniture fits perfectly well into our vision of a hall of residence. I am confident that the future residents of LivinnX Kraków will share our opinion,” said Jakub Bartos, Head of Residential at Golub GetHouse.
Fitted-out residential units can be seen in the hall of residence (five types), and recently also in the IKEA store in Kraków. A one-person studio is showcased there.
“We have a number of solutions that are ideally suited to the students’ needs. We are glad that thanks to the cooperation with LivinnX we were able to present them “on a living organism”. We have moved one of the interiors to our store. It is a Scandinavian modern style studio, equipped with a comfortable bed that can be folded out if necessary, a spacious wardrobe and a functional kitchenette with a table,” said Katarzyna Kuś, Interior Design Manager at IKEA Kraków.
The investors of the hall of residence understand all too well the importance of entertainment, the possibility to follow passions, establishing contacts and the sense of belonging to the community in student life. That is why apart from residential units on six floors of the building, LivinnX Kraków will also offer 2,000 sq m of amenities. Students will have at their disposal, among other things, specially arranged study and entertainment areas, a large shared kitchen, 24-hour gym, sauna, yoga room, climbing wall, art studio, and even a terrace with a jacuzzi on the roof of the building. There will also be a laundry room and a bicycle room. The facility will feature public spaces such as a Lewiatan convenience store, Mr. Pancake restaurant, a drugstore and a café. The entire site will be supervised by CCTV cameras. The reception and security services will be available 24 hours a day.
Thanks to its convenient location, the residence hall is well connected with Kraków’s key colleges and universities. It is also located in close proximity to the Old Town and the Kazimierz district, offering access to cultural facilities and services such as museums, art galleries, clubs, restaurants and the Vistula River embankments.
For the construction of LivinnX Kraków are responsible Golub GetHouse in cooperation with the American company CA Ventures International. The design of the Telpod renovation was provided by the renowned Kraków-based architecture studio IMB Asymetria, and the general contractor is UNIBEP S.A.
