Markat Plus, a distributor of wood-based boards and materials, will lease more than 7,300 sqm of warehouse and office space at Panattoni Park Kraków III. It is the industry leader’s next distribution centre in the Lesser Poland region, which will also serve as a showroom. The tenant was represented in the transaction by AXI IMMO.
“We were looking for a warehouse south of Krakow, relative to our headquarters in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. Location near the A4 highway and close to a major metropolitan area will significantly increase our distribution capabilities. Due to the current market situation, we decided to let warehouse space in the Panattoni Park Kraków III distribution centre. Rising inflation, which directly impacts the increase in prices of materials and contractors, a long-term lease will be a safer option,” comments Michał Banasik, co-owner, Markat Plus.
“From the beginning of cooperation, the client had strongly defined expectations regarding warehouse space and a reliable and experienced developer to work with. After establishing the most important parameters regarding the new logistics centre, we quickly selected the offer of existing warehouse parks. Panattoni Park Kraków III was the best option due to, among other things, great flexibility in arranging the showroom and the possibility of future expansion under one roof,” explains Marta Nowik, Consultant, Industrial & Logistics, AXI IMMO.
“The Kraków warehouse market is one of those very demanding ones, in which details often determine the success of a transaction. The big advantage of our warehouse is its convenient location in terms of the A4 motorway entrance less than 3 km away, as well as the high technical standard of the property,” convinces Filip Noworól, Senior Leasing Manager, Panattoni.
Panattoni Park Kraków III is a 34,500 sqm modern warehouse park located about 10 km southwest of the centre of Kraków, near (about 3 km) the transportation interchange connecting the A4 highway with the E40 European route and national road no. 44. The basic facilities of the distribution centre include manoeuvring areas with a minimum depth of 35 m, wide parking spaces for trucks and cars, 24-hour security, and CCTV.
