Matexi obtains building permit for new investment in Warsaw

Matexi Polska has received a valid building permit for the first stage of a new residential investment “Sady Żoliborz” in Warsaw’s Żoliborz district.

The spatial layout of the two-stage investment consists of three residential buildings intertwined with internal courtyards. The project of the first stage assumes the construction of two 5- to 8-storey multi-family buildings with a total of 112 apartments of various usable areas, with a 2-level underground car park for 134 parking spaces and 4 service premises on the ground floors of the buildings.

“While developing the brick details of the façades that define the character of the buildings, we took as models the existing buildings in the district, e.g. the Industrial Chemistry Institute located in the immediate vicinity, the famous Sady Żoliborskie or the residential buildings of Old Żoliborz,” said Karolina Turos-Wolny from the Latergrupa Architekci studio.

“This is our first investment in Żoliborz, so we particularly wanted to emphasize its local character and, at the same time, its prestigious location. The name of the investment directly refers to the nearby Sady Żoliborskie, while the quote on the façade refers to the cultural heritage of the district,” said Karolina Stokowska, Project Developer at Matexi Polska.

Out of concern for the natural environment and in line with the trend of sustainable construction, the developer has implemented ecological solutions combining ecology with functionality. Photovoltaic panels, the energy from which will illuminate the common parts of the buildings, and a rainwater recycling system, which, after recovery, will be used for sanitation purposes and water for the surrounding greenery.

The start of sales for the investment is planned for the end of the second quarter of 2023.
