Max City, the largest shopping center in Croatia’s Istria region has officially opened open its doors to the public. The opening ceremony will continue for several days and will include discounts and a diverse entertainment program for the whole family.
The shopping center is located in the tourist zone of Pula, the largest city in the Istria County, next to numerous hotels, restaurants, camps, and tourist resorts. The Center has excellent visibility with a catchment area of more than 216,000 people.
Set to become Pula’s new retail mecca, the mall will attract shoppers from the region and enhance the shopping experience for tourists.
Max City has a gross built area of 71,000 sqm, including 29,000 sqm of net rentable space. Spreading across three floors, the project will offer various retail stores, gastronomy units and entertainment, as well as 800 parking spaces on two levels.
The tenant mix will consist of more than 100 international and local brands such as H&M, Bershka, Pull & Bear, Stradivarius, CCC, CineStar, Sport Vision, Elipso, dm drogerie markt, BIPA, Mango, RESERVED, Mohito, Sinsay and many others.
In addition to its diverse retail offer, Max City shopping center will house a lineup of coffee shops, restaurants and fast-food outlets. With many terraced cafes and restaurants, visitors will be able to relax and enjoy spectacular views of the Adriatic sea.
Other amenities within the shopping center include the first CineStar cinema in Istria with three cinema halls, a hypermarket, children’s playroom on the top floor, a car-wash and complementary WiFi.
Max City shopping center is an investment worth over €53 million (400 million HRK) that will create approximately 500 job openings and significantly boost the retail offering in the Istria County.
